Forum: Academic Discussion Practice This forum simulates an academic group discussion. The topic is:
"Should universities require all students to take a course in academic communication? Why or why not?"
Post an initial response (100–150 words) using at least two of these discussion phrases: • 'In my view...' / 'I would argue that...' • 'This is supported by...' / 'Evidence suggests that...' • 'While I understand the point that... I think...'
Then respond to at least two classmates, agreeing, disagreeing, or extending their points using academic language. Replies should be 60–80 words each. |
