One night, Maria heard strange noises in her kitchen. The sound was loud, like something falling. She was alone and feeling scared. Grabbing a flashlight, she walked slowly to the kitchen, her heart beating fast. As she got closer, the noise became louder.

When Maria opened the door, she screamed! But then, she saw it—it was just her cat, Max, playing with a can of soup. The can rolled, and Max chased it like a ball. Maria laughed, feeling silly for being so scared. Max looked at her, as if asking, "What's the big deal?"
