Forum: Share Your Thesis Statement
A strong thesis statement is the backbone of any academic essay. This forum activity will help you practise writing one — and help you improve by seeing how your peers approach the same challenge.

In your post, do the following:
1. Write a thesis statement for an essay on one of these topics: (a) the impact of social media on student well-being, (b) why critical thinking should be taught at university, or (c) a topic of your choice relevant to your field of study.
2. Explain in 2–3 sentences why you structured your thesis this way.

Then reply to two classmates:
•    Is the thesis debatable and specific?
•    Does it preview the main arguments?
Offer one concrete suggestion for improvement.
