MODERATORS:
I am an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Sfax, Tunisia, and a member of the MIRACL Laboratory. I earned my PhD in Computer Science in 2008 from the University of Toulouse III, France. In 2019, I obtained my habilitation to supervise research
I have actively contributed to two French-Tunisian research projects (CMCU) between 2014 and 2020. More recently, I led the PHC Utique project (2022–2024), entitled RSE-Learning: Recommendation of Learning Scenarios in a Collaborative Distance Learning Context. This project facilitated a fruitful collaboration with Laboratory L3I at La Rochelle university, which remains ongoing. Since 2008, I have served as an Online Teaching Coordinator, focusing on enhancing pedagogical methodologies and integrating advanced technological tools for distance education. I have also been involved in organizing workshops on active pedagogy, promoting learner interaction and engagement through innovative teaching practices. Over the last three years, I have organized Microsoft certification sessions, particularly for the Microsoft Technology Fundamentals (MTF) program. As a member of the Career and Competency Certification Center, I played a key role in supporting students and professionals in acquiring industry-recognized credentials. I am deeply passionate about communication development and am a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner, which enhances my professional and educational engagements. My research interests primarily lie in: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Distributed Systems, e-Learning. I am particularly focused on the application of AI and distributed systems in online learning environments. Since 2006, I have published over 45 research papers on topics such as personalization systems, social recommendation systems, learner profile interoperability, and trust management in the Social Internet of Things (SIoT). |

NellieDeutsch (Ed.D) has taught EFL in K-12 and higher education for over 40 years and has applied CALL since 1992. She founded online professional development programs on Integrating Technology - Moodle for Teachers on a Moodle Learning Management System. She provides free courses for educators on how to integrate emerging technologies and AI into their classes. She integrates learner autonomy peer-based learning with mindfulness. She’s faculty in an MSc program at the Democritus University of Thrace at a distance on a Moodle LMS. |
