This is my first moodle course indeed and I want to practise by completing the requirements of Develop Activities and Resources with AI course!

This 5-week intensive version of Foundation English A is designed for students whose English language proficiency is at the CEFR B1 mid-level. The course focuses on the development of academic language skills through reading, writing, listening, and speaking tasks grounded in real-world topics. Students will engage in discussions, presentations, essay writing, and analysis of texts and videos, integrating vocabulary, grammar, and study strategies. Emphasis is placed on developing critical thinking and the ability to form arguments supported by reliable sources. The course uses Pathways textbooks and multimedia to simulate college-level academic expectations.

My audience for this course are 70% men 30% women aged 25 to 40 who use English at work, at the ILR Speaking Level 2 (limited working proficiency).

The purpose of this course is learner training; professionals will develop a better understanding of what hats teachers' wear in a typical, dynamic, agile 1:1 session. Equipped with this understanding, students will be able to give better feedback to their tutor, as well as negotiate misunderstandings and ask for what they need from their employer, their team, their community. 

In order to achieve the purpose of the course, I'll present four roles:

i. The Sympathetic Interlocutor

ii. Teacher as provider of just-in-time micro-instruction 

iii. Teacher as assessor of level, performance and progress

iv. Teacher as agile curriculum creator & provider of "perfect homework" (the right task for the right reason in the right amount)

If this doesn't work my second choice would be a specialist course on the patterns of phrasal verbs and how to work with them so they start appearing in speech and writing.

Through integration of Ai technologies and guided language practice, the course aims to create a cultural sustaining program that embraces the diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds of newly arrived migrants and provide pathways towards belonging and well-being. 

Planning a lesson based on learning properties and technology.

A practical, beginner-friendly course introducing mindfulness for personal well-being and educational settings. Includes guided practices, research insights, reflection tasks, and multimedia activities to develop daily mindfulness habits. Ideal for educators, students, and professionals seeking calm, focus, and emotional balance in daily life.

Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages course is very fundamental for my teaching career and professional development.

This intensive introductory course provides a comprehensive foundation in the core concepts, algorithms, and practical applications of machine learning. Students will delve into the fundamental principles of supervised and unsupervised learning, gaining hands-on experience in data preprocessing, model development, and evaluation. Emphasis will be placed on practical implementation using Python and relevant machine learning libraries. This course aims to equip students with the essential knowledge and skills to understand and apply machine learning techniques to real-world problems. Weekly live Zoom sessions will provide opportunities for interactive learning, Q&A, and deeper engagement with the course material.

AI course for University students 

The Introduction to Linguistics course explores the scientific study of language, covering its structure, use, and evolution. Students will examine core areas such as phonetics (speech sounds), morphology (word formation), syntax (sentence structure), semantics (meaning), and pragmatics (language in context). The course also introduces sociolinguistics (language in society), language acquisition, historical linguistics, and the relationship between language and cognition, providing a foundation for further linguistic study.

This course will motivate learners to speak English with more confidence as it will involve them in both fictional and  non-fictional scenarios, which will  equip them with the language needed to express their thoughts and feelings as well as enhance their social  interaction skills 

I would like to make a course for flight attendants to gain the tools and resources they need to have a fun and interesting layover, since they aren’t always able to plan a successful layover on short
notice.
